The easy way out.

Standing in front of the mirror,
she’s searching for the words to tell herself.
Crying her lungs out, she wants to find a way out.
Her almost perfect life, now shattered.
Nothing but the bits she managed to hold on to herself.
Broken. Desperate. Depressed.
With no future ahead.
She tries hard to pick up the shattered bits,
she fails every time.

She tells herself, there’s has to be a rainbow after the storm.
But the storm doesn’t seem to end.
She has to either sink or swim
and she’s already tired of swimming.
She wants to drown. Go deep down and never be found.
Yet, she wants to see the rainbow.

Standing in front of the mirror,
she wants to find her way out.
Bitter truths flash in front of her.
Pain. Anger. Tears.
That’s all she has now.
She wants to find a way out.
She can’t hold on any longer/more
She finds an easy way out.

To end her pain, agony and tears.
She finds an easy way out,
hoping that its the rainbow.
she finds and easy way out,
with the illusion of being an unsung hero.
she found and easy way out,
that gives her no answers.
